All the time he’s boxing, he’s thinking. All the time he was thinking, I was hitting him”. Jack Dempsey

Jack Dempsey was world heavyweight champion between 1919 and 1926. He became extremely popular because of his aggressive and powerful style and was the protagonist of some of the most spectacular fights of his time. His won against French hero George Carpentier in 1921 generated the first million dollar gate in boxing history and was attended by 80000 people. I was for George Carpentier.

March 22nd, 2011 by Elisa in Events, Media Partners | , | No Comments »

Skating noblesse Lodown Magazine has accepted to get down to our boxing boorish level and is our new media partner. The boxing family is looking forward to get some lessons in style and German grammar (which we really need). And if the Lodown crew will ever need some help for riots (which I heard they often do), they now know where to look for. May the Prolligkeit be with you.

Ann Wolfe is an American boxer, also called “the female Tyson”. She started to boxe in 1998 and has a record of 24-1-0. Her knock out of Wonda Ward is considered by many the most impressive female knock out ever. Before boxing Ann Wolfe lived as a homeless with two children. Since the end of her career, nobody has ever written about her again.
